Privacy Policy

Last updated — October 13, 2026

Full Disclosure is operated by House of MaRa. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

When you create an account with Sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier and, on first sign-in, your name and email address.

To show you your congressional district and representatives, we collect the ZIP code you enter, the district it resolves to, and your saved preferences, which sync across your devices. Depending on your ZIP, if it spans more than one district, you may choose to enter a street address to pinpoint your district. That address is sent to the U.S. Census Bureau's geocoding service for that single lookup; we do not store it, and we keep only the resulting district.

To deliver notifications, we collect a push notification token, your device platform, and a randomly generated device identifier.

If you subscribe to Full Disclosure Plus, our payments provider RevenueCat receives your account identifier and your purchase and subscription status.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to operate the App: to identify your district and representatives, sync your preferences across devices, deliver notifications you opt into, provide and manage your subscription, and maintain the security and reliability of the service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

What we don't collect

We do not collect your precise device location (GPS). District relevance comes from the ZIP code you type, not from location services. If you choose to enter a street address for a multi-district ZIP, that address is used for a single district lookup and is not retained. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites, so no App Tracking Transparency prompt is required.

Data storage and retention

Your account and preference data is stored securely with our infrastructure provider and retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App, which removes your associated data.

Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services to function: Apple (Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases), Supabase (data storage and backend), RevenueCat (which receives your account identifier and purchase/subscription status), Expo (push notification delivery), Google Maps (map display), and the U.S. Census Bureau's geocoding service (which receives a street address only when you choose to enter one for a multi-district ZIP lookup). Your use of these services may be subject to their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can access and update your preferences within the App, and you can delete your account and associated data at any time from the App's settings. If you have questions about your data, contact us using the details below.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App.
